"We love Elmer & always stay at the Elmer. It’s been recently taken over & it’s even better. The team are all friendly & cannot do enough for you. The food is sensationally good, breakfast and dinner (steak & Stilton pie is incredible). They spoilt us and our dog. We cannot praise them enough."

"Beautiful building but lack of attention to detail. Upon arrival in spa, went to make a cup of hot tea and there was no sugar or stir sticks or spoons. Wanted to enjoy the hot tub before massage and it was like a barely warm bath plus the jets were spraying up at your face so you couldn’t sit without getting water in the face. "Dusty room in areas. Rubbish behind bedside cabinet. Couldn’t get to plug easily to charge my phone as it was behind the cabinet and when pulled out there was thick dust and rubbish behind it. No deep clean for a long time. Dirty windows, old cobwebs around it. Pool was not in use so very disappointed as we had stayed there for this reason. "
