Top Devils Kitchen Geological Reserve Hotel Reviews
The Provincial Boutique Hotel
8/10 Good
"The bed was comfortable, room large comfy chairs. Tv too small for the room, bathroom floor grout very dirty. No table to work from, don’t book if you have trouble with stairs."
"Perfect for a stay with the family. The appartment itself was good but needs new pots and pans as they are all old and dirty. The beds were comfy but one had yellow stains on it. Carpet needs a good clean and the heater struggled to keep up"
"The hotel location is good. The check-in was simple and fast and the Staff was nice. The room was very clean and up to date; the split a/c system was working well for heating and easy to use. Overall, we are pleased with our stay, thanks."

8/10 Good
"We stayed for 3 nights in a 2-bedroom apartment as a family of four and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was well-appointed, comfortable, and well-suited for a longer visit.
The resort amenities are a real highlight. There’s a heated indoor pool (though still a bit chilly in winter), tennis courts with racquets available for complimentary hire, bikes, and even canoes and paddle boats you can use on the dam — plenty to keep the whole family entertained without leaving the property.
A couple of things to be mindful of: this was our second stay, and although we booked the same 2-bedroom option as last time, we were allocated a 2-bedroom apartment with only 1 bathroom (and 1 toilet), compared to a 2-bathroom setup previously. It’s definitely worth making a special request if having two bathrooms is important to you.
We also experienced an issue with hot water — each evening around 8pm it would run out, despite not using much during the day. Earlier in the day it was fine, but this was a bit inconvenient for a family trying to get everyone sorted in the evening.
Location-wise, it’s a great base for exploring Ballarat, with most attractions within a 10-minute drive.
Overall, a relaxing and convenient stay — we’d happily return."
