"Rooms were clean except for cigarettes in ashtray when we went to our room . Elevator smelled of sulphur. As to Sauna, we are rather sad that it was naked only. We are 2 prudish people and not comfortable around nude people, so couldnt use it. "There was some sort of daily service but the room wasn't vacuumed and towels not changed for the entiredurationof our stay. It seemd the room attendant would just empty bins and tidy up the room. Water bottle was replenished only on the second day, however there always was a jug with water in the corridor so it wasn't a problem for us. "

"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist.
