"This is an old brick building that is decorated from the turn of the century. Common rooms as you pass from floor to floor and wind through the building. Very cozy and interesting. And you step right out to Main Street and the bay. We would highly reccomend The Palace as a unique and fun experience."

"When we entered the building, the hallway had a musty old smell, which concerned us. However, once we got to our room, it was nice and clean and didn't have any stale smell. The staff from each shift were very pleasant and helpful. The two things to improve would be the smell in the hall ways and the breakfast. The breakfast choices were a bit disappointing. However, the person hosting the breakfast was super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."

"Photos online are beautiful, concept is cool, but in person details reveal gaps. Beautiful view, but with no screens in the windows or sliding door ALL of the bugs come into the room. Gross. This means no smelling or listening to the bay, which defeats the purpose of securing this king suite. Huge jacuzzi style tub in the room, but after adding an inch of hot water and letting stand for a few minutes before filling, I found floaters. So the tub wasn’t clean. Gross. "I had to leave early on a trip to the area because of my room. my bed what so paperthin and cheap I couldn't sleep. It was like a motel 6 but worse."

"This is an older hotel. I rather liked the look of old woodwork around the windows, and the tiled counters. It was a pleasant place to stay, and I think we'll lodge there again on our return trip. If you're looking for a brand new chain hotel you'll be disappointed, but this will take you back to road trips with mom and dad."

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel.
