"The view was good. Very few choices in Anacortes for water views. But the property is nice. The rooms are old and badly need to be updated. I do not consider my self to be a snob, but whoever rated these as wonderful on Expedia has a completely different definition of wonderful than most. The rooms are furnished by Walmart. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The breakfast was a very sad disappointment."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge.
