"The hotel staff were awesome, from the check in desk to valet service. Location was great. Right at Georgia State University. They have on-site restaurant which I didn't use. Rooms were well dated with a huge bathroom mirror that has Bluetooth.
Negative comments. Street parking was impossible even to check in. I parked across the street in a parking lot and for 30min check in, the cost was $18.00
The front door stays locked. I could not figure out how to get in so I walked around the corner to the valet area and ask the valet attendant. He opened the door and let me in without telling me I was fixing to fall down due to a step about 6 ft from the door. It has nothing to warn you. The floor is all brown so you won't see the step until it's too late. Once I got passed that there is a set of around 8 steps to go down to the lobby. Why have valet parking on the side that requires you to walk around the hotel to try and get in the front door if you are disabled? By the way valet parking is a steep $55.00 per 24 hrs.
The hotel is pet friendly but outside our rooms door, there was a large yellow urine stain on the carpet. The inside the room was very nice but it had limited lighting. One by the bed, one by the desk. TV had a small number of cable channels. There is a small refrigerator and safe in the room.
We agreed that we would stay there again unless we found something similar and closer to Mercedes-Benz Stadium."
