"Location of the hotel was OK. Room was very basic and lack of any safe was a concern meaning we had to lock everything away in our cases. This was even more concerning with an issue we have tried, unsuccessfully, to address via the general manager. On the last day of our stay we left the hotel late morning and returned about 9pm to find our room door open. Staff had clearly been in and emptied the bin in the bathroom, however no other service had taken place. The door does not close...

"The property is nice to stay. However you have lot of homeless people arround which makes a unpleasant experience if you plan to travel with family and kids. The staff is super nice and all the ameneties is good. The rooms are little smaller compared to other properties I have stayed with Mariott so far but that is understandable considering it is New York. "
