"This is a lot more than a tourist area motel. Yes it shows its age in a couple of places, mostly chipping pain on the doors and iron work, but it’s kept immaculately clean. Having a microwave and mini fridge allowed us to save some money by making our own sandwiches to take to the beach and nuking leftovers or something quick when we were just to spent after a day in Savannah to go walk a block or two to get dinner. Linens were spotless white from bed to bath. Check in and housekeeping staff...

"This was our first stay at The Alida, but certainly won’t be the last. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to be accommodating, and full of knowledge, and warm personalities. Record player in the room was solid! The room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. The shower pressure could have been better; but if that’s the only minor inconvenience…then so be it. On site dining and cocktails, top tier. Location, on point. We will absolutely be back. Cheers "

I had a medical emergency during my vacation where I needed help and she was not only understanding but so helpful during my stay even though I was a complete stranger to her.
