"The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. But my room was surprisingly dirty and worn. Music from outdoor entertainment on weekends intruded into the room. J. Ambler offers a variety of rooms of different quality located in various buildings on the premises. My recommendation is to avoid booking a room in The Barn building, the location of the restaurant and bar. Speak with the front desk first before booking a reservation."

"We enjoyed staying in this “haunted” 1772 inn, so much more interesting than a chain. But old inns come with smaller rooms, steep steps and no-elevators. Our room had been recently redecorated, pretty and comfortable. We did hear a child crying around midnight, thought it could be a ghost, but probably was the young family in the next room. :)"

"This stay was satisfactory compared to my last trip to TownePlace Suites Marriott Horsham. The staff services were satisfactory this trip, and my room was okay. I requested a room on the third floor, and the staff members gave me an accessible room for a disabled person. I didn't like that, because someone who was disabled could have used this room. These were stains on the couch, some hairs in the bathroom. This stay was okay, but my last experience was better. Hopefully, they will correct...
