The Hendrick Smithfield
8/10 Good
"Good hotel, ideal base for exploring Dublin. Rooms were clean and functional, albeit on the small side. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had both cooked and continental options, but the cooked option was very limited, not what I would think of as an Irish Breakfast. There was no fried eggs, or beans and of 2 days I had breakfast, 1 day had potato scone the other didn't. Food options were very limited for other times of day, basically pizza or sandwiches. Didn't get to use bar as disappointingly it was closed when I returned from a concert on the evening. As a solo traveller I prefer to use hotel bars than pubs. Overall a good comfortable stay."

"The only thing I didn’t like was that if you were there less than 7 nights there was no housekeeping done on the room unless you paid an extra fee. Since we only stayed 6 nights we were not eligible."
