"The staff was nice & I was so happy to able to check in earlier than 3pm (arrived at the hotel at 5am, did touristy things while hotel kept my luggage until checkin, before succumbing to an unplanned 9 hr nap from being jetlagged). I booked a double with no windows. The lights in the room were already on & better than expected (coffee/tea station with a kettle, keruig, cozy bathroom, tv, desk, closet, safe, ironing board, chairs). "From the second we arrived at The Davenport, everything was perfection! We stayed for my partners birthday and as a gesture they gave us a complementary room upgrade & a drinks voucher to celebrate.
The staff in the bar & reception were lovely & couldn’t do more for you! The room was absolutely superb, it was huge & decorated beautifully! The beds were also extremely comfortable and we had the best 2 nights sleep.
Perfect location, close to everything you need! An overall amazing stay, so sad...
