Una and Morton were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble from serving tea and cake when we arrived to supplying me with toothpaste when I found i hadn't packed mine! Would highly recommend."

"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. "This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that.
