"Good room, decent beds and pillows. The staff was lovely, there is parking but it's across the street in a parkade which is not ideal but it works. Pretty good location, just a few blocks away from the action but not much directly around the hotel for any immediate needs. "

"We loved staying in this unique vintage hotel. Our room was at the top of the building but was clean and well set-up. It's in a great neighborhood close to Queen's College. Loved the door knobs! Enjoyed a great meal at Hendrick's which was walking distance from the Gregory. Which we could have stayed for breakfast. Highly recommended."

Just as impressive was the service; each of the girls we dealt with went above and beyond, easily some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced (we found out they live together, study together and work together - and it shows that the all share the same work ethic and kindness)! "Not even sure where to begin - this experience was simply stellar from beginning to end… Check in was fast, friendly & easy… upon entering our room it felt like we were walking into a terrace of City Hall, with the dome seeming to be mere meters from our door! "The 1852 was a great place to start our tour of Ireland and definitely our stay in Belfast! Check in was smooth and we appreciated them leaving some beers for welcome and to recognize folks checking themselves in. (Unfortunately there appeared to be some folks that thought they needed all the free beer). We had a hike of the stairs as there isn’t an elevator, but loved the room, hotel, pub and location!"
