"Old style motel on Durango’s main road with southwest decor. I slept in the little “cozy” room filled with a queen size bed which was perfect for my one night stay. Little fridge and electric kettle for tea or pour-over coffee in the room. The office staff was welcoming and helpful. Very clean. "Location. Location. Location. been coming out to Durango, CO for over 10 years. Walking distance to downtown was ideal. A few blocks over from the main drag. It is an older best western. Rooms were a little dark, and dated. Hotel pool in middle of property. Hotel is next to the Durango train station. They did have complimentary drinks in the evenings."

"River front , walkable the bad thing was they had a lot of dust due to a construction in the Parking lot , also Expedia advertised for a free parking and they charged me a fee"

"The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and the air conditioner worked well. However, the outside corridors were filthy and smelled horrible near the garbage. The interior wall between the 2 beds had something spilled on it, the floors were filthy in the corners. The bathroom had dirty walls. No hand towels or washcloths were provided. "Very friendly and helpful staff. It was so nice to be able to park at the hotel early in the day so we could visit the town and ride the train even though we weren't checking in until later that evening. Restaurants and shops are very close, everything is walkable. Our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We had a very enjoyable stay."
