The Hotel Staff greet you with a smile, are welcoming and helpful. There was a variety of food on the menu and the food is delicious with attentive service from the Waiters and Waitresses. My room was well cared for and I was grateful for the upgrade. I really appreciated the sea view.

One of the best stays of our trip! The hotel is beautiful, with lovely classic furniture and welcoming communal areas. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a sitting area and a huge, comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Even after check-out, while I was waiting to leave, someone kindly brought me a glass of juice—a small gesture that really stayed with me. We wished we could have stayed longer. A wonderful experience, 10/10!

Charming antiquity in all the right places. Comfortable crowd / staff around the breakfast area. Nice walkout to end of dock, around sunset watching the waves and surfers. From A nice little old ('white') couple just passing through.

It was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful clean and neat Delicious breakfast. Staff are extremely friendly and really very helpful. Musa was great. Can definitely recommend staying there.

Ótima hospedagem.

Me surpreendeu o conforto decoração atendimento nota 10, principalmente do bartender Sanele que percebendo que estávamos bom tosse preparou um chá especial. O café da manhã é perfeito e completo, o restaurante fornece refeições deliciosas principalmente as pizzas. E fica a beira mar.

Really value for money. Everything works. Staff was great. Breakfast very good. Easy to get an Uber. Beach view room was very nice...to have an smart TV in the room witn some european chanels should be great

The hotel was really nice. The staff did help us in many areas but even though they lived in Durban their knowledge was fairly limited about the area. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone. When I asked about groceries or getting a sim card they didn'r really know where I should go. Eventually a porter told me the best place to go which was only a 5 minute walk. The restaurant and staff in there were superb. The meals were excellent. And the prices were so cheap compared to the UK.

Feedback

The customer service was very disappointing, it did not seem like people cared or were keen about meeting our needs as customers of the hotel. Maybe a refresher course would be beneficial. I would like to commend the quality of the food as well as the service of the chefs, no issues there and great customer service from the team that were making our breakfast and how they deal with us as customers. The rest of the hotel employees can learn a thing or two from them. The cleanliness is also on point and commendable. If there are many people or peak periods, maybe the number of employees should be increased to accommodate the increase in demand as that directly affects the service levels. Lastly, maybe alternative power during load shedding is an option to consider too?
