"Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes"

"We had a pleasant two nights stay at this hotel. The bedroom is nice and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel location is two stations outside the center of Amsterdam. The staff so kind and very helpfull. Cons : When we wanted very early morning to check out, the elevator and lift near hotel wasn't working, so we had to walk around a bit far to the station because we were carrying two large suitcases and we couldn't use the stairs.
