"Lovely comfortable room and especially bed. Hotel was very busy due to a conference on Friday when we arrived and a wedding on Saturday, so quite noisy in the communal areas. Food in both restaurants was good but service in Farenheit was a bit slow. Buffet breakfast was okay, but often seemed to run out before being topped up, so you had to chhose your timing carefully. Pastries were very good though and there was a good choice. I asked for poached eggs both days and they were perfectly cooked....

"The hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Staff were very helpful. Had a nice restaurant. The main drawback is that the room was very small. My husband's big feet didn't fit between the bed and the wall...but the room was cute, the bathroom nice with a good sized shower. There is a fridge and a safe. The bed was comfy. There were street noises, but that's expected on a busy street with lots of pubs and restaurants. I'd stay here again."

"Stayed 1 night in Dublin before a wedding in Wicklow. Two rooms for 5 people. We arrived very early in the morning and the hotel did their best to get us into our two rooms as quickly as they were able. Rooms were clean and nice. Very centrally located. Easy walk to all attractions or quick inexpensive cab ride. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The Cassidys Hotel is close to transportation and attractions. There is little need for cars and taxis in that area. There were also several good restaurants in the area. I found the room to be a bit cramped and the housekeeping staff should have been more conscientious, but it is a satisfactory hotel for enjoying Dublin. "

"Location is second to none for tourists. Right in the middle of the temple bar area. No parking at the hotel but a large multi story across the road with special rates for the hotel. Large doors close of the car park at night so fairly safe. Still my preferred hotel even after 10 or more stays. "

"I love this hotel. It is quirky and old, but well maintained. The signage was improved this time, and I was able to find my room easily. On a previous stay this was not the case, and I wandered around a bit. My room faced an alley and it got quite noisy, especially early in the morning. The radiator and towel warmer appeared to have leaked a bit, but worked well.The staff are just lovely, always helpful. "
