"Check-in was quick and convenient, which we really appreciated. However, when we got to our room, there was a strong, unpleasant smell right away. As we started to unpack, I opened a drawer and found a bag with dirty underwear and socks inside.
I want to be clear that I wasn’t upset at first. I understan that housekeeping staff work hard and can fall behind, especially in a busy hotel like those in Vegas. But as we continued checking the room, we found more issues. There were visible stains on the toilet, toothpaste left in the sink, trash still in the trash can, and dust on the nightstand. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned.
I called the front desk and was told a housekeeper would come up. After waiting about 40 minutes, no one arrived. I called again and was told someone would come “right away,” but another 30 minutes passed with no one showing up. At that point, I went downstairs to request a new room, but they were fully booked.
Since it was getting late, I asked if someone could at least change the sheets. I was told this would be done immediately, but again, no one came. We eventually went to sleep, and in the morning, we found the clean sheets left outside our door.
I understand that mistakes happen, and I don’t believe the hotel would intentionally assign a dirty room. However, the customer service was very disappointing. Promises were made multiple times and not followed through. We were also told we would receive a partial refund and never did. "
