DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans

DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans

8/10 Good
"The location of the hotel is based off Canal street and is fairly centralized if you want to walk to Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, and the Warehouse district. The staff were, overall, friendly and hospitable, though you can tell the busy weekend was taxing (we stayed during the weekend of the Krewe of Boo parade). The overall property and the rooms were clean. I did have an issue with the lack of hot water in the shower during the weekend...but the issue seemed to have resolved itself by the time we left. You will have to pay for breakfast at the hotel, but there are so many options at the local restaurants, so for similar prices, I would try to eat outside. I did not try the food at the hotel but the one benefit I can mention is a short wait time to eat. Some of the popular restaurants can see up to an hour of wait time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."
