"While the room was clean, it was shabby. Paint peeling in the bathroom, part of the curtain was hanging off the rod. AC/heat was fine.
The carpets in the room and throughout are in dire need of being replaced as they look worn and dirty. Hotel hallways need brighter lighting.
Restaurant is nice, food is good and the waitstaff are friendly and engaging. All staff was very nice.
There was a $126 surcharge added to our bill the day after we left and we were not told about this prior to leaving. "

"This is an old, quaint hotel. That being said, our room was extremely musty (poor air quality). We stayed for two nights. Upon check out, I went to tidy up after we packed our belongings and I discovered that I had been sleeping on a pillow case that was extremely filthy on the other side. The staff was friendly enough, the location was good, but I would not stay here again."
