"Wonderful place to stay, however, they need to update the outlets or bedside lamps to include USB/USC charging. That little little change would have been extremely helpful. We have medical devices that need to be plugged in at the wall at bedside, so we unplugged the lamp. Otherwise, great everything, including the pool and hot tub."

"Room- Clean, a/c worked well. Sink smelled from the drain pipe. Also, ask for more towels for more than 1 day stay. Staff- Kitchen, guy didn't speak english. Just point to what needs replenishment. They have 2 coffee dispensers that grind whole beans per cup, no option. You're stuck with black, or adding half-n-half or 2 coffe mate pump flavorings. Slow system lines up the breakfast goers. Limited items, no milk containers for the kiddies. Did have yogurt and bananas. Shops- check on maps...

"The inn was ok. Needs more of special touches that an inn has to offer. The staff was not around to help. I had some friends over to the inn and was very grateful they let all of us there for hours to enjoy each other’s company. My friends want to book the whole inn for bike weekend next year. They all liked the inn."

"Do not let them put you in room 253 (room with a view and fridge) if you do not want to be woken up at 6am to body slamming like noises until 10am. The breakfast area is right above the room and it’s very loud. They never gave us a warning which I feel is taking advantage of people. If we would have known we would have booked the cheaper room or asked to be moved."

"We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. "Considering this is a Super 8, it’s a nice hotel. The front desk, Nicole, is the best!!! I would be happier if the breakfast had warm options, mainly eggs. The other suggestion is offering coffee all day long. Pet friendly!!!!"

"We have stayed here a few times throughout the years because we love visiting Gettysburg. The breakfast cottage is amazing. The mineshaft bar is super cool. It’s walkable to everything. They have an outdoor pool for summer and an indoor pool for winter. The outdoor pool has a really cool diving board."

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."
