Termas de Papallacta
10/10 Excellent
"El lugar es increible, muy limpio y el personal muy amable. Todo fué perfecto, sin duda volvería por la paz y la comodidad"

NASS Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"The staff is very friendly and the lighting and bedding are great, with plenty of blankets provided. However, the breakfast is just average. A major downside is the shower design, which causes the entire bathroom floor to get wet—this definitely needs to be fixed. Also, we could have used more towels during our stay."

Luna Volcán, Adventure SPA - formerly Luna Runtún
10/10 Excellent
"What a special property. The grounds were so beautiful especially the 110 year old avocado trees that reminded us of live oaks. The staff was so wonderful, because they weren’t fully booked, they gave us our choice of rooms. We chose one with a spectacular view of Banos Pueblo below. Our reservation included breakfast and dinner which was excellent, lots of choices both local and international. We also used the spa, which was affordably priced and very nice. The pools and terrace cafe was an excellent place to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the Banos de Agua Santos area."

Cabañas Tamiaju

"Excellent staff and host"

Suchipakari Jungle Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We had such a wonderful stay at Suchipakari Lodge. The property is absolutely beautiful—you truly feel like you’re deep in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by nature in the most peaceful way.
One of the highlights for us was the on site chocolate tour. It was not only fascinating but also delicious, and such a unique experience to have right there at the lodge. We also went tubing with our young kids, and it was both very safe and incredibly fun, something the whole family could enjoy without any stress.
I also did the night walk with my 5 year old, which was such a special experience. It was fun and exciting, and we learned so much along the way. Of course, the guide was incredibly kind and patient.
What really made our stay special, though, was the energy of the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, calm, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a peacefulness about the place that feels contagious, maybe it really is the jungle life.
We left feeling relaxed, happy, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in nature."

Sangay Spa Hotel
6/10 Okay
"We stayed here for two nights. It was just ok. Don't expect anything over the top considering how much you're paying. Breakfast is traditional Ecuadorian food. The hotel is close to all the downtown festivities and shops and is directly across the street from the city's main waterfall. We stayed here the weekend of Palm Sunday. The city was crazy with people, especially outside of the hotel. So, if you stay here that particular weekend, be prepared to be awakened very early (4am) in the morning with hundreds of people who have come to bath in the hot pools and waterfall. "

Heimatlos Rainforest Lodge
