"This is a safe, nice hotel on a college campus in a great location of DC. The staff was friendly and professional. The only thing we had an issue is with allergies. Seemed like a dust issue as the rooms all have the air conditioning with recycled air. Overall great property."

"I do not recommend this property. Asked to be placed on the quietest side of building since we were there for four nights. After sleeping there the first night we realized our request was not honored. They placed a sleeping machine in the room because of ALL THE PAST COMPLAINTS. The white noise helped me, but my husband couldn't sleep with the machine on (no volume control). We were on the 11th floor and the room was sweltering, though the controls showed the AC was on. "I stayed at this hotel this weekend while attending an event in DC and was very disappointed with the condition of the property. The air conditioning in the room barely worked, making the room uncomfortably hot throughout my stay. The floors appeared not to have been vacuumed or mopped and felt dirty from the moment I checked in. The exterior of the property was also poorly maintained, with overgrown grass and an overall neglected appearance. To make matters worse, I was charged the security...

"Decent place to stay if you are traveling on a budget. Beware though that the area is still gentrifying. The hotel is in a remote area of the city. You will end up paying for a shared ride to get to the attractions. If you want to take public transportation downtown be aware of your surroundings. There is a Target and Mom’s Organic a block away."
