"The rooms are huge. Two beds in a loft and one bed on the main. No exterior windows so very dark and reasonably cool. Design of shower makes it drain into the bathroom and basically flood the place. Breakfast is ok but only comes with coffee, not even water for kids or non coffee drinkers. Room in front was super noisy as the staff from the two desks would talk to each other loudly starting at around 6:30 am. Pool is good shout for kids and open 8-8."

"This is a large and Cabin in a natural habitat so those who want to stay here typically would have different standards than someone who wanted to stay in a tradition. I do both. For this type of experience I’m really enjoyed the atmosphere and the host and all the wildlife and hiking and peace so I highly enjoyed it and recommend it."

"Terrible experience — I do not recommend this hotel. I booked and paid for my reservation through Expedia. When I arrived, I was told there would be an additional $20 charge because my reservation was for one person and my husband was with me. They agreed to $10, which I paid. The bigger issue was that they then demanded I pay for the room again in cash, even though I had already paid through Expedia. "The property is very intimately set up the room that I got had the hot tub and the balcony connected, which was very nice. The only thing that I had an issue with was, I guess the room hadn’t been used in a little while so there was a a few small bugs that were in the bed and when I turned the ceiling fan on a few of them fell from the ceiling fan and because of the heat, the power kept going off and it stayed off for quite a while in the middle of the night, which caused us to be extremely hot,...

"A Hidden Gem! 🤩 Great place! I will definitely be going back. The hotel feels luxurious and has the atmosphere of a beautiful resort. Guadalupe was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she served us a delicious breakfast. You can choose between a local breakfast or pancakes, with juice and coffee included. Everything was wonderful, and the hospitality made our stay even better. Definitely a hidden gem—I highly recommend it! ✨"

"This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place."
