"Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. The rooms are very well laid out and equipped, and we had, without doubt, the most comfortable bed in our 41 years of visiting Greece. "5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....
