"Feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. Peaceful with lovely pool surrounded by trees. Good food and super helpful staff. Comfortable large room."

"Out of every hotel we have stayed at in Sri Lanka, this was the best. It was classy. They did absolutely everything right. The staff were always smiling and helpful. The food was amazing. The chef is so talented. Best stay ever. Wish it could be longer."

"The manager, Nandu, was really helpful in setting up morning safari for us on short notice after our previous accommodation fell through. The breakfast and dinner were hearty and super affordable. It’s not exactly 5 or even 3 star accommodation (AC leaked onto the bed and the bathroom had some flies), but for value for the money it’s a good pick. We saw tons of elephants on safari."

"Great location! Centrally located, super nice hosts (family led hotel), nice breakfast and a comfy, nice room! :-) Thank you!"

"Everything was very good, especially the staff. The lady on reception was fantastic and helped with train tickets. The pool was clean and inviting in the sun. The buffet food was okay, sandwiches were the best choice from the menu options. Safari was great, no need for a guide as our driver pointed out lots of things. Would recommend."

"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."

"Fremragende sted, en lille perle i høj klasse og fantastisk personale."

"Le Personnel . Maison familiale. Bon petit déjeuner et bon repas . Le responsable de la Maison est tres intéressant et son épouse. tres gentille . Pour la chambre : il faudrait la refaire et surtout la salle d eau qui laisse a désirer. J avais cru comprendre dans le descriptif . Spa . Massage. Meme si je n' ́ etais pas intéressé. J ai rien vu de tout ça."
