"this motel has a convenient location, close to I-70 exit at Hays. Surprisingly it had no road noise. Room was comfortable, clean and handy from the parking lot. The included breakfast was run of the mill, greasy sausage and fake eggs, but other items to survive on. Check in was great and easy"

"Room was spacious and clean. Pool was comfortable and seemed clean and well maintained. Breakfast was disappointing, the metal warming trays only had heated frozen items, and they were limited. So it was mostly cereal, toast, packaged muffins, etc."

"The hotel, including the room decor, was very nice and had a unique old-country feel to it. Check-in was a little odd, as we checked in at the bar while ordering dinner. The food was fine. By about 9:30 p.m., the staff was gone, so it felt like you were on your own for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, the A/C in our room would turn on but wouldn’t actually blow any air, which made for a very uncomfortable night. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. One other thing that surprised me was the 10:00 a.m. checkout time. In my experience, 11:00 a.m. to noon is much more common, so 10:00 a.m. felt unusually early. Overall, the hotel had a lot of charm and character, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved."
