"You get what you pay for but what there is was decent. Loses a mark for mould marks on shower ceiling but cannot fault rest of hotel. Breakfast very basic but what food there was hot and edible and the bar/restaurant area is lovely."

"Rooms are well appointed and clean with comfortable, large beds. The quality of food at breakfast was good, but hotel was very busy and there were not enough staff on to keep the breakfast buffet replenished and clear tables, and seating was at a premium. A little chaotic. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and so these issues may well resolve. There is a car park which is run privately and you have to pay for. It’s not really large enough for a hotel of that size."

"Mixed bag - some staff really helpful (the lady at breakfast (20th April), really friendly and very helpful the high point of the stay, the check in not so good. Room quite warm in April, this may mean it would be very warm in the summer. Tiny TV in the room. You can open the window but it can be very noisy outside."
