"I first stayed here 20 years ago when this hotel was Le Meridien. I was in Pune with my daughters whilst my husband was out of town so decided to have a trip down memory lane with them. The hotel is as lovely and grand as ever, the rooms are comfortable with the Indian service you expect from a 5 star. Food on room service, main restaurant and the Chinese restaurant was delicious. Helpful concierge and front of house staff if you need assistance with Uber etc. Lobby area is just gorgeous to sit in and the pool terrace perfect to escape the heat. Well equipped gym and recreation centre which the kids loved (includes air hockey, table tennis etc). "

"No issues with the room or the staff, they were fine. My problem was with the noise. The restaurant is central in the hotel, and there is an open space above it and the hallways to the rooms. The noise travels up and seems to be amplified by the acoustics. I could hear everything that took place 2 floors below me. "

"Promptness at work and also handling of each and very individual enquiry with utmost care requirements were missing and reminders were required to be placed to get anything done. Overall a great experience but this could be improved. Luxury hotel stays aren’t the same as they were back in the nineties or early 2000. Maybe it’s just me but this is what I felt. "
