"Consistently great hotel. Rooms really nice and food, bar and front desk service equally good."

"Nice hotel. Staff was nice. The hotel is a little dated but our suite was large and spacious. Shower was awkward. The only thing was that that housekeeping didn’t come around until close to 5pm our second day there and we were getting ready to go out for dinner so it did not get cleaned. Having said that, I asked the front desk to please have them clean our room the next day. They came much earlier while we were out and they did a nice job."

"I paid their pre authorization charge (the entire cost of the room) and then didn’t get the money back. They wanted to charge me again for the room and said I’d be getting the original charge back soon. That’s all fine except for the fact that I didn’t have enough to pay for the room a second time. Because of this, I couldn’t pay for my room and it had to be canceled. I just came to meet up with someone in town the next day, but I had to drive four and a half hours back home the same night. It was incredibly inconvenient. I understand it’s a policy, but it’s not a great one."

"Night staff acted really weird to my wife. Wouldn’t give her a card to the room, even though I called and had her name added. Very rude to her. Will never stay here again and I do not recommend anyone stay. "

"Would not stay here again. To start, when we I booked, I paid (extra) for a suite with a sofa bed. The room we were given had no sofa bed, it was just a standard room. We made it work, as we were told upon entry, that they were no other room available. We get into to room, it wasn’t awful looking, just a lot of holes in the walls (foreshadowing). We were provided ZERO towels in the room. We called and they brought offered us ONE towel (for 5 people). We checked out the hot tub, had to call for more towels there as well, as there were none….The hot tub was okay until my fiancé got in and there is a giant hole in one of the floor grates, so his leg went right into the hole and came out completely scratched up from the plastic broken cage. The best part was packing up and finding MOUSE DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE. They weren’t there when we arrived, but you could hear them skittering around during the night. Just a terrible experience l, and I cannot imagine staying here with small children! Stay somewhere else if that’s an option!"

"We stay at this property cuouple times every 9 months... Sadly this trip was somewhat of a let-down for us even after property upgrades of resent times... Simple repairable-fixable things were not maintained since last stay, same room.. Alarm clock didn't work, the standing room lamp didn't work, bathroom electrical oulet 1/2 plug didn't work, no hair dryer this time, a few bathroom tiles not attached nor glued, tub stopper missing, & bedsite light & charger ports were dead & lastly... TV had vertical lines at startup... So we don't ask for much, but no lights don't cut it & the wife wasn't with no tub plug & having to wad up a wash rag.. What are we paying $115.00 bucks a nite for..??? This was a 39.95 stay... Sadly Sad Sad.. Will state peple staff are the best & breakfast lady was a peach...!!! Very happy they had two (2) working ice machines at leasy this trip 1st & 2nd floor... Will give it 1 more experience chance, after that, if no changes, it's back to Danville, KY options.. TY"

"Nice as always. My April stay was off season so the heating was limited to a bolier system. A little colder than normal but actually added to the experience."
