Erice is a lovely old hilltop town. The Bella Vista is a clean b and b run by a very friendly Sicilian. The facilities are adequate for a stay for a day or two.

Lovely view and terrace. Bed was comfortable. The shower was small and door didn’t work properly. It’s tricky to understand the parking situation and to get to place. Good location

A room with a view

We are a family with two teen boys. The room we got was immense, well decorated, beautiful and extremely comfortable. The beds were very comfy, and a whole terrace with sitting nooks just for us made it perfect to watch the sunset over the city and the Mediterranean from. We were delighted with the breakfast, and the owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Room was very nice service was good but Erice can be a little difficult to get to from Trapani. It was not as easy as I had believe from my research particularly during times when the lift is not operating. There are only a handful of buses that run from the plaza adjacent to the train station. Outside of that a taxi is about 35 Euros.

Our hosts Camelo & Anna Maria were very welcoming, helpful, & hospitable!! They provided a nice European style breakfast of pastries, cheese, fruit and of course delicious coffee. We communicated quite well using google translate.

There was some confusion with where we could park and where to find the b&b. Once we worked through that, the property was in a very good location and served a delicious breakfast!! The accommodations were certainly minimalistic but for a quick visit, it met our needs and the price was great!

Host was always available for any questions or needs we had. He was very personal and engaging. If I have one bad thing to say about Bella Vista is the mattress we slept on needs replacement. However, that being said, it did not interrupt our sleep. Other than that is nothing negative to say. We very much enjoyed our stay. Bring your walking shoes.

L'hôte nous accueillies chaleureux. Il ne parlait pas anglais mais parlait très bien le français ! Il nous a proposée de voir plusieurs chambres et de choisir celle que nous voulions. Nous avons aussi été surprise de découvrir une terrasse sur le toit avec une vue imprenable. Seul problème : isolation de la salle de bain. Nous avons été obligés d'allumer la clim à fond pour compenser.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour ! La chambre d’hôte était très propre et nous a largement suffi. L’hôte et sa femme sont adorables et le petit déjeuner est très bon! Attention cependant à quelques détails que j’aurais aimé connaître avant mon voyage. Le village se situe dans les hauteurs et pour y accéder il faut passer par des routes de montagnes avec beaucoup de virages et ne dispose pas de commerces.
