"This might be a bit of an old-school perspective on hotel reception staff, but my observation is that the attire is inappropriate. An employee dressed like that is fit for going for a walk—not for welcoming guests."

"I was publicly shamed for the credit card I used upon checking in. I was humiliated in front of the entire lobby. Additionally, for paying almost $400 per night, our view was of the roof hvac system. The room quality was barely average. I originally thought booking this hotel would be a nice way to spend my birthday. Never again. I’ll save my money and stay ANYWHERE else."

"First, know it is a motel with doors to the outside, in downtown Phoenix. That was not clear to me from the listing. Didn't feel particularly safe as a woman traveling alone but I was at least on the 2nd floor and not on the street. Stayed here after a canceled flight that was rescheduled for the next morning as airports near airport were full. If this is your situation, it is not the best choice. It is across from a nightclub that was so loud on a Sunday night it sounded like I was in attendance — could sing along with the words to songs if I wanted — until around 3-3:15a.m. When you pull up, the exterior isn't much, and the motel next to it was downright scary looking. The office/checkin area leaves a lot to be desired, bare bones, buzzer, smelled strange. Actual room was clean enough but very simply refurbished, though some effort to give it a little style. Two of four toiletries - shampoo, lotion, hand soup and body wash - in pumps were out. But of course didn't know this until already in the shower. Was fine for a night and I survived but will make it a point to not be back. "

"Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. The lock on the first room they gave me would not open, so I had to walk back down to the office and they gave me a different room. I felt the price was a little high for the value."

"Don't book here. Don't stay here. I didn't stay longer than 10 min in my room after check in. One of the worst rooms I've ever been in. Several places that looked like blood stains on floor, bed, furnishings. Online pics and reviews very misleading. Seemed like a very unsafe area"

"Great staff, however facility is showing a little age. Not a lot of room for breakfast, bar is small for such a large “resort”. Construction outside and bar pool has been replaced with a big square area of grass. Lazy river park great for kids though. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The Lobby area has a casual friendly vibe. The restaurant area was busy, and engaging. We had a light dinner and wady conversation with our neighbors. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening."

"Dirty room, room needed much updating, really no amenities, neighborhood very poor with lots of homeless people. Very nice pool area, good friendly staff. would not go back."
