This hotel is amazing. It is about 20 minutes from Neuchatel at the bottom of a gorge by a river. The location is peaceful and scenic. The staff here are superbly hospitable. The room was very spacious and clean with a big bathroom. If you are wondering about the lack of curtains (there are net curtains), you need to use the shutters which are very effective. This a fantastic, unique property. If you like old and interesting buildings with an eclectic mix of antique furniture this is the one. The beds were so comfortable and the whole place so clean. The owner was so helpful, little touches such as some food items, chocolates and fresh flowers just added to the experience. There is a coop and a couple of patisseries within two minutes walk.
