"We stayed in the Anna Povlova suite - a beautiful high-quality set of rooms overlooking the sea - spacious bedroom with comfortable king-size bed, ensuite shower & loo, twin sinks, separate bathroom, bath, loo & sink, spacious sitting room with fridge and tea/coffee making - and with door out to the veranda and roof-top seating. "This hotel has a secure parking garage underneath it. Safe access by lift or stairs to their reception desk & to rooms. There is also a luggage trolly at reception if you need it. The staff are very pleasant & helpful & the rooms are very clean. We had a lovely ocean view from our spacious room with a very comfortable king sized bed. "This was an excellent unit with great amenities. A short walk to the CBD and across the road from the beach. Fantastic to get two bedrooms with king beds and two bathrooms, plus a giant spa bath, two heat pumps and three tvs, plus a kitchenette for the price that we paid on the winter special rate! Nice touches like local ground coffee was supplied and there was even a tea pot. We felt very spoilt. Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly. Very comfortable beds and awesome showers....

"This hotel is gorgeous- the refurbishment is beautifully done and the room I had was really spacious. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette and barhroom were user-friendly and super clean. I will say the parking can be a bit of an issue, particularly if you have bags to drop off and because of the location ( the middle of the CBD) the street and traffic noise is really loud. If you dont mind street noise though its the perfect innercity stay."

"The room smelt like cigarette smoke, the hand basin wasn’t wiped clean and there was pie pastry on the floor behind the bathroom door. The continental blanket on the single bed had awful marks on it as well. When I checked in they asked me to pay for a room I had pre-paid online."

"Loved the location - view of the ocean, lots of lovely cafes nearby, right by the beach. We were in room 1, which was on the end downstairs and nice and quiet. Decent-sized, clean rooms. Loved the walk-in shower! The room had cutlery, utensils, crockery and microwave which was handy. Plenty of storage space. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant onsite so option for room service too. Would happily return! "

"Love staying here. 3rd time now. Good value for money and it's s so handy with the bistro which has lovely food. Staff are always give great service too. The only little gripe I have this time, was the aircon had a constant whine all night but other than that still enjoyed our stay. "

"Staff were kind and polite, and the cleaners do a good job but it’s very run down. Ripped carpet, holes in the walls, ripped wallpaper and chipped paint. Definitely needs work! Couch was stained and so were some of the bed covers. We won’t be staying again unfortunately."
