"As far as staff goes not very welcoming at front desk but the cooks at breakfast made up for it,nothing but cheery humming and big smiles to everyone. Unfortunately the pool was dirty when we came and we hoped to use it on a hot day.Other than that our stay was overall swell 4 star!"

"The room was nice and spacious, but not very clean. The floors were sticky, there were smears and stains on the bathroom walls, the tables throughout the room had some sticky smears. Our bathroom sink barely drained and was very slow. I had a few cold showers during our 3 night reservation. We did notify the front desk and hotel messaging about the issues and was told that the drain would be fixed first thing in the morning, the floors would be cleaned to remove the maple syrup smell and stickiness, and the boiler would be reset to improve the water temp. Not one housekeeping or maintenance visit occurred during our stay. The front desk was pleasant and friendly and did reset the water for us to have a warm shower the final night. The breakfast was underwhelming and the breakfast area was dirty. We will be staying at a different location the next time we visit San Antonio. "
