"You will notice in the pictures on the website there are 5 rooms that look pretty modern and 5 that are more vintage. We stayed in one of the St. Croix suites (one of the vintage ones and not the one that is pictured on the website). It was clean, but interesting... the hot tub in the room (which we did not use) is right on the carpet, which seemed odd to us. The air conditioner is in the main room, so the bedroom got a bit warm at night. The view of the river is amazing. The room could use a larger table for eating, a refrigerator, ice bucket, and a dresser. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The lobby was clean and welcoming. I would stay here again, but maybe in one of the more modern rooms. The vintage rooms gives a little bit of "The Shining" vibes. lol"

"The staff was welcoming. We had issues with a light fixture that was fixed immediately. The property was very well maintained and despite there being a couple of sports teams, the rooms were very quiet and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"This hotel is wrapping up a complete interior re-do. I had a double queen room. The room was so NEW - new carpet, new walls, new furniture. It's got a small fridge and a microwave. There's lots of storage. My travel companion loved the breakfast (I didn't get up in time, but she did bring me coffee and yogurt). The staff tried their darnedest to be helpful. They did listen when we suggested they figure out some way to work around the odd way the designers are "hiding" the refrigerators, as it's causing them to overheat. The easiest way would probably be to take the door and associated hardware off that cabinet - otherwise, I think they're risking equipment failure and/or fire. NOTE: There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. I would gladly stay there again."
