The County Hotel, Newcastle
Nice hotel very close to the station. Room was small but nice and clean. The bathroom sink looked nice but the tap was so close to the edge of the sink I couldn’t wash my hands without water spilling over the counter top. Staff were friendly and self service breakfast was good

The Vermont Hotel Newcastle
In theory this should be a great hotel however it’s so noisy at night. Should have realised when we got to the room and there were ear plugs at the side of the bed. Rooms are so hot and no air con so you have to open the windows then you get the noise. Should be told when booking that you won’t get ...

Great location, nice and quiet, helpful staff and spotlessly clean room. The corridor could have been a little better cleaned, but I would 100% book again.

Perfect for what we needed - a bed for the night. Great price for 4 people. Fantastic location. Easy to find. Great that it’s got parking and there was plenty of room in the car park.
