"Great find!!! Great staff! Awesome spa area which was maintained very well, and fun little bar. The only it did lack was food on premises, but, literally right outside the hotel doors, there are plenty of options! All around a great hotel"

"This is our go to hotel in the Huntley area. The only reason for 4 stars is that I always need a pool. Their pool is cold. Uncomfortably cold. I did ask 2 times for them to turn it up, it stayed cold. The staff is great, the room very nice, clean, The staff offered towels on the off days. The beds are memory foam. I would like a firmer mattress. The breakfast is typical for hotels. Parking is good. Area is safe. Lots of restaurants & shopping close by."

"Stayed for 3 weeks, never again. Dirty, nasty rooms and super dirty property. No refrigerator,no microwave no nothing."

"We just needed a quick place to sleep, and this worked well. The place is a bit dated, but it was clean, felt safe, and the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly."

"This was definitely one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The rooms were clean, staff friendly, nice breakfast, great gym and pool. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quiet. They even had a water bottle filling station!"

"Property was in bad repair. Security door from the outside did not work--didn't need a key card to get in. No telephone in the room. Curtains were dirty and torn. Air filter had mold on it. Ceiling in bathroom had a hole in it due to the bathroom above leaking!! Will not stay here again."

"When I arrived at the hotel to check in l, the staff informed me I had booked for the incorrect day. While I was standing at the front desk I told the person I would cancel that reservation and immediately rebooked to stay that evening. I was told to contact Expedia regarding a refund. I did contact Expedia, who contacted the hotel and they refused to refund me for the cancellation, even though I rebooked that same night. I’m extremely disappointed in the hotel management for their decision."

"It’s a nice place to stay without breaking the bank. Easy drive to Richmond, McHenry or even Crystal Lake. Parking was fine and the view was nice. "

"Staff very nice. The hallways always smell of cooking and old carpets. My electric STOVE was screwed shut ! Was told it was for Safety. Well, i didn't book a room without a working STOVE. "

"Hotel was under construction, my first room assigned to me smelled reallly bad of animal urine; I told the front desk, no way I can stay in there; so they put me in a suite which had a floor and there was no smell in there so was ok but front desk acted like it was a chore to do."
