"This was our first time staying at Royal Inn, and we had a great experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the AC worked very well, which made our stay comfortable. We only stayed for one night, but we really appreciated having a refrigerator that was large enough to store food and drinks. It would be especially convenient for a longer stay. Overall, a pleasant experience, and we would stay here again."

"Good and convenient location for downtown and U of O. On-site restaurant, immediate access to walking path. Mall with arcade and other restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are updated. Other criticism is uncomfortable sofa bed mattress."

"Have stayed here several times as it's convenient to the Oregon Horse Center. The rooms are always clean and I appreciate that they have the basics I need - bed, bathroom, refrigerator, sink. Check-in is easy and the staff has always been friendly on arrival. I also have an F-350 truck to park and can always find space. They also have a coffee maker and coffee available in the room."

"The room was advertised: 2 queen beds and a couch/bed, which served our needs. The property is fine but starting to show its age. The breakfast, while standard fare in American roadside motels, was basic and not terribly nutritious: processed food and no fresh fruit or vegetables. There are a cluster of hotels in this off-ramp retail area which might be more attractive."

"This remodeled hotel has been redone really well. The bed was comfortable. The flowers in the flower beds are beautiful. The staff is attentive and pleasant. Breakfasts include real eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, potatoes and fresh fruit. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day. We would definitely stay again. They deserve more than the two star rating they have."

"This place is DISGUSTING. I reserved a deluxe room at $300 a night, and paid extra to have a refrigerator. We received a room that had a huge dent in the door (like someone tried to break it down), brown liquid dripping from the walls, human feces on the wall by the toilet and a large hole in the floor of the shower. When we opened the fridge, we were greeted with a pungent smell and mold growing all over the inside. The smell of animal urine and smoke made it hard to breathe and we could...
