"This is a basic little motel, but it is clean and the location is fantastic. It is so close to everything that you would want. "

"Room was very clean and the staff great. However, the shower door did not close properly (even a sign on it to that effect) because the top door hinge was broken. The room lighting was poor, especially if you wished to read in bed or in sitting on the couch as the only room light (apart from the quite dim bedside lamps) was a large oyster light just inside the door in that little alcove. The patching of the vermiculite where the ceiling meets the wall looked unsightly. Parking was good, and the breakfast was OK for what it was (a very simple continental)."

"Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to cleanliness issues. Many items in the kitchen didn’t appear to be properly cleaned, which made it uncomfortable to use. Basic supplies were also lacking — only two rolls of toilet paper, one bin liner, and no essentials like salt or pepper were provided. On top of that, the 9am checkout felt unnecessarily early compared to the standard 10am most accommodations offer. Overall, the stay didn’t meet expectations and could be improved with better attention to detail and guest convenience."

"There was nowhere to put our suitcases. Perhaps one or two purpose built low shelves in the wardrobe areas would help. Many hotels have these and they are robust enough to cope with suitcases and their wheels. There was plenty of (perhaps too much) storage space in those areas so a suitcase shelf would fit in easily. "

"Staff excellent. Pool great. Room was requested to be accessible but no response from property to such and I did not have accessible shower. I was also told when requesting beach view that every property faced beach. I booked because of that and did not get a view of beach. Place us convenient but property is tired and old."

"This place is an easy stay everytime, so peaceful and clean. It was pouring rain this time but we could easily get on the bus right out the front or eat at the club without even going outside. Have stayed multiple times never any issues. We did have a back side of the building room this time overlooking Tweed rather than Coolangatta but worked out to be the perfect location to watch the ANZAC Day dawn service from the balcony. Staff are always lovely and accommodating."
