"Perfect overnight in the heart of Hallstatt. Right on the lake in the central village, amazing views, no rush to catch a train back. Woke up to the mountains on the water — exactly what we came for. Highly recommend staying overnight instead of just day-tripping."

"Nice location , a 15 min walk to old town. The room was clean , we dis not intact with the staff much . Breakfast was good . Good price for the location . The sky bar was great . We had dinner there our first night . All was very good . Two night in Salzburg is enough ."

"Changed ownership since we booked; less luxury 5* than I had hoped, more functional 4* hotel but ok. Clearly refurbished, nice clean big rooms (shame new curtains didn’t block light in morning!) No room service for milk or coffee Lot of young staff (fine) but 1 didn’t seem to know where bedrooms were (needed 1 next to lift for elderly parents & was put in wrong room) Convenient location, lovely historical building."

"Liked view and breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. Bed a bit firm. Shower a bit tricky. TV not easy to understand."

"Great location, right outside the Sound of Music Tour pick up point. Luggage lockers are available, breakfast is excellent value for money compared to cafes near by. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but overall this was a fantastic place to stay. Oh, no milk for the tea either so take your own and pop it in the fridge."
