"Fire alarm kept going off throughout the night, waking us up. Iron did not work. Dishwasher was not connected to cabinet and fell right out. Did not work. No one ever answered when we called the front desk. It took several requests to get an iron to us. I heard several leather guests also complaining. "

We didn't use the pool but it was heated and could've been used even in late spring weather. With the location we were also concerned it would be loud, but it was actually pretty quiet! No noise from the Riverwalk got into the room."

"I had a very nice stay at the Crockett Hotel. It had a great location next to the Alamo and near the River Walk. I think my big challenge was that I had a 5-night stay, and my room was never cleaned, and I had to ask for a fresh towel halfway through my visit."

"The air conditioners are old and emit a heavy smell of mold. I have traveled for a living and never had the type of allergies that I did at this hotel. Two sleepless nights, I had to leave early, couldn't handle more. That said the staff was extremely professional and thoughtful. My poor review is based on the property having mold not the staff."

"Property looks very outdated. Room looks dirty and had a bad smell. Also bathroom and bathtub was in horrible conditions. Another of the rooms I booked had smell to marihuana and my pregnant cousin was going to have to stay there till we complained and told front desk she was pregnant… "
