"From the moment we entered the property our experience was less than ideal. The staff member at the front desk should not be working in the hospitality industry. She never smiled and only conversed when required to give or get specific information. She was actually rude on a number of occasions during our stay and sighed deeply when having to respond to any questions or needs. Breakfast was very minimal, not what we expect when advertised as being included: 2 choices of dry cereal, toast, 1...

"Was there for a convention and it was convenient. It says absolutely NO SMOKING everywhere but the entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. Spacious suites. Convenient parking spaces. Near Stewart international airport. Less than an hour drive to NYC. It’s nasty but when all hotels in the area are full, consider it camping."

Conveniently located between “necessity” store s (markets, Walmart, Lowe’s, fast food, etc.), and the quaint part of town with dining and shoppes. Next to a diner (so-so, but ok in a pinch and if you’re not in a hurry)."

"Really deserves 2.5 stars. Staff was pleasant and professional. Outside and room are a bit run down; but mostly clean. Room had a fridge and microwave but spotty internet and hot water with poor water pressure. Only 1 cup and 1 bar of soap for amenities. Not sure if there were other guests as it seemed most everyone there lived in the rooms, including the strong smell of pot in the morning. Place seemed safe enough though. "This motel looks like it's from the 1970's, but we liked the retro feel of the place. When we arrived to check in, there was a police car with its lights on sitting in the parking lot and a used blue exam glove in the parking lot next to our space (just a little disconcerting!) Both were gone when we returned from our function. Our room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The sheets weren't very soft, but there were two soft blankets on the bed, so I slept between those. The...

"The sheets were dirty. We found several long black strands of hair in the bed along with what looked like blood and rust stains... I would suggest bringing your own bedding or staying elsewhere. We asked for new bedding which we got, but those weren't much better."
