"Strangely, we had stayed in the RV park behind the hotel 23 years ago and I don't remember a hotel being there at that time. More to the point, the room was recently renovated and the bathroom was definitely 5 stars. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"Loved this place! Super comfortable bedding—maybe the nicest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our family loved all of the extra fun offered and enjoyed killing time in the lounges playing pool, foosball, and board games between our excursions to the observatory and parks. So nice that all this was offered for free. We also loved the glass bottle sodas for sale on the honor system at the old soda fountain. Would be great if frozen treats or other snacks were offered the same way. Maybe a QR code payment...

"It was me, my 5 year old, and our 9 month old puppy. We were amazed at the quality of the accommodations. My daughter made a video tour for our friends & asked when we’d be back. We all slept great, the sunset and sunrise views were amazing. Outdoor areas clean and made for great stargazing. Sunrise in the large windows was a peaceful start to the morning. All the kitchen supplies we could need and a large tv for movie night. Luxury towels and robes. The dog lived her best life and none of us...

"It is a beautiful HISTORIC property so don't expect all the conveniences of modern buildings. It is well worth the sacrifice of some of those conveniences to enjoy the peace and beauty of the building. The train does come through multiple times day or night, but we found it interesting to watch. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard and walking around the area. Such COOL murals all over town! Staff was very friendly and everywhere we walked people seemed friendly as well!"

"We make the vintage vibes from the hotel. The pool was clean and the pool area was very well taken care of. Everything was clean, cool and comfortable. It had plenty of space for this mom and her two teenage sons to stay comfortably. We loved it. Super cute. I do wish the pool would stay open later on the weekends since quiet time is from 10pm-8 am. "
