Resort was older but clean and adequate. Pool was nice and clean. Music at Tiki was enjoyable. Front desk was welcoming and helpful.

The room was clean. The pool deck had little bits of tissue paper and debris that did not get removed overnight. The pool deck was not tidied up overnight either, chairs straightened etc.

We had a really good time staying at this hotel. There is a pool, restaurant/bar, a couple bikes to borrow, however, if you are looking for the true Resort Vibe that you may be used to, this is not the right place to find it. It is a very casual situation which is fine, but our room, in four days was never cleaned (trash/new towels, etc.) until late in the day right before we left. No bedmaking, taking dirty/wet towels, etc. except when we put them outside and were picked up the at the same time. The room is very minimal; towels are thin but looked clean. We hope to stay here again and enjoyed ourselves but not exactly what we expected.

Decent location with lots of restaurants around. The floor could have been cleaner, but things worked out for the most part. The pub on site was convenient, but noisy and took up a lot of parking.

The TV did not work properly. I couldn't change channels and the remote was not functioning properly. We only had one coffee cup and there was no one on site to retrieve another one. The shower was very confusing and there were no instructions. The beds look like they were from World War ii. I would never stay there again do not recommend.

We have stayed at the Dolphin Key Resort every year for years and always been happy. Sadly, things have changed. First, I stopped in to check in because I knew their office closed early and we had plans off the property. I was told that I could not check in because the room was not ready. I explained that I was not going into the room but we had plans & I was concerned we would not be back in time. She stood firm and stated someone would be there until 10:00pm. I arrived back after 7:00-7:30. At this point there was a gentleman there who was confused because he showed me checked in???? Also, there office closes at 8:00 not 10:00. Thank goodness were back in time The Maid service basically did not exist . After the 2nd day. We did get towels but nothing was touched. The lighting in the room is a joke. Two lights on the wall next to bed are horrible. Whenever you touched them, they would fall down. There was a desk lamp on the table not a lamp for actual light. The water pressure and temperature were hit or miss. There has never been a dresser but there were nightstands with 2 drawers to put some things in. Now it is just two tables no drawer space at all. Alot of rooms were rented to people in our group. Almost everyone felt the same way. They are obviously cutting corners in every area.

We've been staying at the Dolphin Key every year for the last several years. Sadly, there is a huge decline in the Hotel. It's obvious they are cutting corners everywhere! The lighting in the rooms is ridiculous. The lamps fall down from the wall if you barely touch them. They even replaced the tabletop lamp with a desk lamp. The water temperature and pressure are hit and miss. There is no drawer space at all in the room. The nightstands have been replaced with cheap tables. We have a big group that goes every year and most of them are going to look for another place next year.

Rooms clean and staff friendly. Rooms need updated but worked well for us.Tiki bar and pool a plus! Restaurant and bars nearby and some in walking distance.

Pool and outdoor Tiki Bar nice. Room was very dated not clean. Upon arrival my bed had no blanket or comforter. That problem was resolved quickly by house cleaning personnel. The bed was very cheap and noisy. The refrigerator very loud everytime the compressor came on. Since I was only staying one evening, I decided to just make it work and enjoy outdoors. In the morning I went to use the shower and had close to no water pressure. At this point, I wanted a shower and to checkout. I basically took a sponge bath and got out of there. I informed the manager on duty of my concerns on checkout and told her a discounted price would be appreciated. She got very rude with me, saying that I already got a great price with Expedia and she could not help me since I did not book direct. I expressed my unhappiness as well. Next, she told me that she would reach out to the owner and call me that afternoon. Of course, that never happened! I would not recommend this place to anyone. I also am surprised that Expedia has this place rated high. It was a miserable night of partial sleep in a dirty, dated hotel for a very high price.

Room was clean but very dated. Bedframe was broke and knocked against the wall each time you got out of it. Mattress was lumpy. TV was a 24", really? Who still has that small of a TV? Bar and pool connected were a good amenity.

Room condition was very clean except for the bathroom area and the floors . Some towels had stains on them. Lukewarm water in the shower. Plumbing fixtures in the shower were rusty. The first towels that were used in the bathroom were medium size towels but when I asked for a new towels they were regular size.. floor was a little gritty. Exhaust fam in the bathroom did not work and there were several fruit were coming from the exhaust fan. On a good note, the bed was very comfortable. Pillows were comfortable. Bed comforter was very nice. Air conditioning worked well. Pool area was very clean and the pool water was very comfortable to swim in.

Room was nice. Staff was great. But they have bands every night. Gets kinda loud. Especially fri and sat. Play 7 to 10. But i would stay there again. I will be checking on deals for next week year.
