Dear [Hotel Manager’s / IHG Guest Relations], I recently stayed at Staybridge Pecos, TX September 8-10, 2025 and I was very disappointed with the condition of the property. The cleanliness of the hotel did not meet the standards I have come to expect from IHG hotels. During my stay, I observed: stained bedding, unpleasant odors This experience did not align with the cleanliness and comfort that IHG brands are known for, and it made my stay uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. I am bringing this to your attention so that it can be addressed immediately, both for the sake of future guests and to ensure the property maintains IHG brand standards. I would also like to request [compensation, points credit, refund, or another resolution you prefer]. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I’d reserved two rooms a few weeks ago. One with a king bed the other with two queen beds. I ended up with two rooms with two queen beds. My husband and I slept on one of the queen beds. The mattress was awful the other one was no better. And there was a constant flashing green light for the smoke erector directly above the bed. Neither of us could sleep with that light. Regarding the bed issue, I was told we have no extra rooms. I wasn’t asking for an extra room. I was ask g for the room I had asked for when I reserved it weeks ago! Poor customer service never going back! They could’ve offered me a discount or a voucher for a future stay. Very disappointing!
