2/10 Terrible

"The beds were dirty, the shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottles were empty, and the toilet paper had already been used. It rained for about 2 hours, and in the restaurant/cafeteria the water was leaking and running all over the floor without any warning or safety signs, which was very dangerous for guests. The service from the staff member who attended us was very poor. We reserved 4 rooms and spent around $700 at the restaurant for dinner alone. To make things worse, one of the rooms had no working air conditioning, and they were not able to move us to another room until 10:00 PM. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience"

"The hotel is extremely nice and the area’s great! Valet staff amazing - think all doors & bags were loaded before we could even get out of the car - same when we left! The view from our room was beautiful - actually felt like we were in NY or DC with all the beautiful trees! All staff amazing - had stayed there before & was great, but after traveling so much since and experiencing the lack of it at many hotels lately, I was actually really impressed! I always love the coffee offered on each floor in the mornings. Know you can make in your room or go downstairs, but so nice to walk out & just grab quickly, especially if trying to get to mtg, appt or catching early flt. We’ll definitely stay there again!"

"This was a nice hotel, not to far from where we were going and the staff was very friendly. Bed was a little smaller then I thought, but overall a nice hotel. I would definitely stay there again, if I needed a hotel in the downtown area."

"The room was clean & spacious. The shower takes a very long time to get warm/hot. We showered with lukewarm water our first night because we didn’t know if it would ever heat up. By the 2nd day we learned it takes about 20 minutes running the water for it to warm up. The A/C would cool the room and then turn off for a long period of time causing us to get hot and adjust it throughout the night but never really remaining on to keep us comfortable. We searched the room for a menu or a list of food/beverages and didn’t find anything so we ordered door dash for coffee. When the receptionist saw my fiancé with a Starbucks bag she mentioned that there’s a Starbucks in the building. We were very grateful for the mini fridge, microwave & bottled waters. We tried using the phone to request more towels but the extensions didn’t ring form room service or the front desk."

"Chantal at Front Desk was great! She was friendly and accommodating. The Front Desk Supervisor was very nice as well. Valet service....much to be desired..it needs some work."

The IAH Houston Hotel

"the rooms were clean overall. there was a few disappointments. room 214 on the second floor, the mattress was overused. where the body lays, you slept in what felt like a hole and the metal bottom frame made lots of screeching noise when getting comfortable in bed. the air conditioner was rowdy and loud. the shower did not have a door or curtain. just a glass that covered just enough where the water stream splashed on the shower floor. no hair dryer in room. also expedia says “pet friendly,” but it is in fact not. they have a sign at the front desk that reads “no pets allowed.”"
