The amenities were well used because local residents are allowed to buy day passes to come to pool, which although is convenient for them, it kind took the peaceful stay away near the pool, pool not very clean. But the room was good. I would shp around off of Expedia to price shop. There are alot of hotels in the area that are not listed on here."

"What can you say? This is the famed Green Mountain Inn, and it lived up to all the hype. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and our room was incredibly charming, nicely appointed, and even had a working fireplace. The only drawback was the whirlpool tub and shower. Anyone with even a slight mobility issue may find it difficult to get in and out, as the tub is very high and, in my opinion, the grab bars are not ideally positioned. "I chose this hotel for its location, close to an event we were attending. I would come back and stay here anytime I am in Stowe. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Stowe Bowl was a real bonus - we had a fabulous lunch and also made a stop at the bar later in the day. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the location can't be beat."

"I came many times at this hotel 25-30 years ago with my parents, when I was a teenager. It is a pleasure to discover Stowe, the Stowe & Snowdrift motel (including the game room, the bikes, hamac and pool) again as an adult with my teenagers. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"Not what we expected, room was dirty and carpet needed to be replaced. Hot tub looked to dirty to go in, area was nice but breakfast was at 8am. which is a big turn off for early risers."
