We got there late because our daughter flew in a day early so we needed 3 bed, we called the host and he was very accommodating. There's a great curry restaurant within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. We would stay here again.

The staff was really great

The best staff, this hotel is located so close to the Messe Frankfurt. The hotel is and Old, bur very clean.

Don't really know where all those good reviews come from. The 'free' parking is actually street parking, at your own risk and IF you can find any. Staff is gone by 6 pm and I had a tweaker next door talking to ghosts all night long till 3 am (and LOUD) plus a nice trio of working girls coming 'home' at 3:01 picking up right after the tweaker left. Mattress as soft as a rock. Check in was decent. Room borderline clean.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience however there are a few things which could be improved. The beds were really comfortable and the room was tidy and quiet. However, there weren't many electrical sockets around the bed which makes it even difficult to have your cell phone around you. Make sure you have at least one socket for charging the phone for example or maybe give the guests an extension cord. Secondly, there is no one to attend at the reception desk. As a work around maybe use a bell so that the guests can ring it if they need something. It was quite weird that I had to check out of the hotel by just leaving the keys on the table.

I stayed for 1 night at Hotel Garni. The check-in was easy, and our host was very kind to us. He gave us great recommendations about activities we could do and a shopping center which was close by. The room and our beds were very clean. The heating worked very well and we had hot water without it running out. It was a little bit difficult to haul our luggage down the stairs, but our host helped us with our suitcases. The only detail I would point out is the check-out time. I had seen on the page that our check-out was at 1pm, as we were traveling we decided to sleep in on Sunday and start getting ready to leave around 1-2 hours before check-out. We thought we had enough time, however the cleaning personnel informed us we had to leave our room by 12pm. As we were still getting dressed and packing our stuff, they were patient with us and waited until we finished. I think it's important for future guests to be aware of this and ask the host the day before check-out to confirm the time at which one should leave. As everything else was amazing I really feel like it was just this detail that made me reconsider giving 5 stars.

Great value for the price I paid, safe , easy walkable area. Only complaint would be not always someone at front desk so you have to call for a code to get in , which may be hard if you just arrived internationaly and don’t have a phone plan setup yet.

Photos quality is just bad and makes the place look worse than it is. Minus is that you can hear everything through walls when someone enters/leaves building but it didn’t bother too much

We booked 2 rooms. The rooms we were given were in the basement (lower ground floor). One of the room had a strong unpleasant smell and we were forced to share one room. Expedia, after discussing the situation with the owner/manager Mr Shani, have written, promising a part refund for the room we were not able to use but now weeks after, have reneged and offered no payment. This is most disappointing especially in light of the inconvenience and the dishonesty.
