"Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket."

"This was in a lovely location and the Manor and grounds are immaculately kept. They have lots of little touches that make your stay more personal, like jute bags and eye masks in your room, ice creams round the pool area etc. The service is excellent and the staff are lovely and really make your experience here unforgettable. It was a wonderful stay!"

"Ashbourne House was such a great find on Franschhoek, it was close to restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. Parking was just off the street but seemed secure. Breakfast was delicious with good choices from the menu. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the guest house, they had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. " nice room but balcony door didn't shut very well and quite noisey ( we didn't mention this and staff were apologetic ) We also paid for a mountain view which was oversold ( room 2) but the staff were very good and room was comfortable "
